Catch up time

Well hello everyone. It has been a long time since I have blogged. I guess I just have to catch everyone up on what we have been doing. WE are living with my parents and it is wonderful. I love it. We are getting ready to move and I am slammed with stuff to do to get ready for school. We mostly have been working a ton lately. We want to get in as much as possible before we have to move. I was off of work last week so I worked for my brother Brian for a couple of days. He is doing a remodeling job for my boss and I got to help with the demolishine(I don't know how to spell that). It was fun working with him. The last half of the week our good good friend Debra Cottrell planned a trip for Cody, Me, Debra, and my friend from work Caitlin, to go down to L.A. We had such a great time. We did a ton of stuff while we were down there with the little time we had. We went to Hunington Beach, Disneyland,Wicked, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and of course shopped and got to experience L.A. crazy traffic. We first met my dad in Downtown L.A.where he owns his U.S. Colo business. He showed us around his business and explained to us what he does. I have never really understood what my dad does but I understand it a little better with seeing it and being explained to me a little bit more. I still couldn't tell you what he does. I would say is it is a communications business and if you want any more detail then go and see it for yourself. It is definitely impressive and I gained a greater respect for technology and my dad!!! Dad took us up to the top of The Standard Hotel for some drinks. This hotel is definitely unique. We loved it because it was so different. They had a bar and a pool and water beds on top of the roof. I heard it gets pretty crazy on the weekends. They filmed an episode of Bones up here. It was so cool to see all of downtown L.A.

We stayed at Debra's Aunt and Uncles house in Hunington Beach. We went down to the beach and played around for a little bit. It was so fun and so beautiful!!

The Main reason we went down to L.A. was to see the play WICKED. I have always wanted to see this play and finally it was time. I just had to have a friend to push me and bribe me to go see it. Thanks Deb!! The play was so incredible. I absolutely loved it. A definite highlight of the trip.

This was a great end to a wonderful fun filled weekend. We had so much fun and enjoyed eachother's company. Cody was a great driver in L.A. and he handled three women very well!!!

I loved Wicked too! It was an amazing show. Sounds like you guys had a great time in LA. I've only been there a couple of times, but really enjoyed it. Matt grew up there, so I know he misses it sometimes.

Jen,
I loved your impersination of the Paris Hilton wanna-be's that were at the hotel that dad took you to! That's something that I wish I had on camera!

I can't wait to see Wicked, I think Ben and I are going in September. About deleting comments you have to be signed in into your account, click on comments and there should be a trash can below each comment, if you click on that it will ask you if you want to delete it and it will also give you the option to delete forever which deletes it from the comment board. I hope that makes since...let me know if you have any problems!

So much fun, I've been thinking about seeing Wicked, now I think I'll have to. Sorry I never got back to you on the comment you left forever ago on my blog. You guys are more than welcome anytime at our place. We're only 15 minutes from Palmyra. The church history around here is amazing and so close.
