Another beautiful semester has begun

Well School has started and I have finished my first week of the second semester!!!! I am pretty excited for this semester. I think I am going to enjoy my classes and my schedule. I don't know if I am going to like my pharmacology class but I will just have to learn to like it. My biggest worry about this semester is finding patients to fill my clinic times. That is the hardest part!!! I so far have only 2 patients and need about 15. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! So far I am not as stressed as the beginning of last semester because I am a little more familiar with what to expect. That doesn't mean that I don't have a knot in my stomach everyday. I am having anxiety dreams every night and wake up sometimes in a panic about what I have to do and wondering if I am missing anything. As we drive to school we feel sick to our stomachs just wondering what is going to come of that day. It is not fun. I am always feeling like I am lost and not knowing what I should be doing and if I am forgetting something. The good news is that I am not the only one feeling like this. I also am stressing that I am not as stressed as I was last semester. (Am I missing something that I should be doing?) I know it will come. My break helped me to forget all those feelings but as soon as school started it all came back. It was the craziest thing that no one would understand. We are going to have a quiz everyday in every class. That is going to be tough but it is a great way to keep me on track. I think this semester is going to go really well. I am excited to learn new instruments and meet people from the public and start working on them!!!

Cody is back playing his x-box with his brother. I love that he can be hundreds of miles away from his brother but still be able to hang out with him. It is pretty cool!! Now that we won't see eachother very much he will replace me with his x-box for the next 5 months. He is such a great husband and is so supportive!! This is what I see when I come home from class late at night

Happy Birthday to Cody!!!

We celebrated Cody's birthday on the 14th. He has been wanting to go to a Brasilian BBQ ever since we moved down here. So we thought we would go for his birthday. Caitlin said that she found one and we looked it up on the internet and it said that the plates ranged from 15-25 dollars. We didn't think that was a bad price so we decided to go. When we got there it was an extremely nice restaurant and everyone was dressed up. They sat us right down, barely talked to us and said, "SHOWTIME!!! GO EAT!!" We had no clue what to do and didn't get a chance to ask how much it was going to be per person. We had no clue what to do. We figured since they already had us sitting down that we would just go eat. They had amazing food at the salad bar, sushi, pasta, fish, artichoke dishes. It was high class. We knew it wasn't going to be 15-25 dollars a plate. We were a little worried but decided that it shouldn't be too much more than 25 a person. (For those of you that don't know what a Brasilian BBQ is. They have a salad bar and then the servers are walking around with big pieces of meat on a scewers (sp?) and come to your table and slice the meat right there in front of you.) It is really cool. So when we got the bill Cody wouldn't let us see it but later found out that it was $50 a person!!! Ahhhhhhh!!! That is so much money. We definitely were not expecting that. It was definitely good and would have never eaten there if we knew what the price was. IF we knew how much it was we would have turned around to go find somewhere else to eat. I guess ignorance is bliss.
Happy Birthday to Cody!!

I put Cody's gift in this bag. He at first didn't think it was for him but when I finally convinced it was for him he got a little curious to find out what was in the Victoria's Secret bag.

I guess when he opened it he wasn't expecting a dress shirt. :) :) :)

Happy Birthday to Caitlin!!!

Caitlin's birthday was the day after school started. We really weren't able to celebrate her birthday that day just because we were so busy. Cody, Caitlin and I did go to Sweet Tomatoes for her birthday dinner which is always good. Some girls in our class wanted to get together last night and have some cake for Caitlin. We ended up making it a suprise and had so much fun. Caitlin had no idea she just thought we were going over to Sam's to play some games. She was not very happy that I didn't tell her to change and that it was ok for her to show up in sweats. When we are in school everybody wears sweats or scrubs everyday so it is no big deal. There were some other girls in their usual sweat or work out attire.
We had so much fun just chatting and catching up with everybody. We also watched the Miss America Pageant!!!

We have such a great class. We couldn't have asked for a better group of girls. We are all so close and get along so well. I am so grateful for the wonderful friends I have made in this program. We will definitely be friends forever.

Well that is the update for now. Next week may be a little more stressful with 5 quizzes and 3 clinic days. We are ready to go!!!

Jen I would love for you guys to come to FL and play with us in the sun! We should fly out to Vegas and see you guys! The name Reddin is a family name from Matt's side. Reddin Allred was his name and he was a body guard of Joseph Smith. And if I remember correctly, your family comes through Reddin's twin brother Reddick! My baby is a very distant cousin of yours'! Hope you have a great week at school.
