We went ice fishing the end of January and loved every minute of it. I think we will have to make it an annual trip with our friends Sarah Beth and James. I am not one to like being cold but I made sure that I dressed extremely warm so I could enjoy the day. We entered a derby to try and catch a tagged fish that had money and prizes attached to it. Unfortunately with all the fish we caught we never got a tag.
My little ice hole. It took me awhile to catch a fish but the fishing expert, James, showed me a few tricks and I was able to catch quit a bit of fish after that!
I loved being able to spend so much time with Cody. He didn't have much luck catching his fish until the end of the day. Then he was on FIRE!!
It was absolutely beautiful.
My brother Brian and his family met up with us in McGill. It was so fun to spend time with them
After Cody sat in "time out" for a little bit with his own little hole he was able to catch a ton of fish!
